Designed by Bruce Kilgore and released on 3 February 2023 as part of the Air Jordan 2 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Lucky Green/Sail/Light Steel Grey. The Air Jordan 2 is the hinge in this whole story. It is the model where Nike Air cushioning entered the signature line, the last shoe before Nike handed the series to Tinker Hatfield and he began building a design language out of it from the III onward. That makes the 2 the end of the first chapter rather than the start of the second, and it is why the silhouette has always attracted people who read the line closely rather than casually.
