Casio Vintage Silver A158wa-1 Digital Unisex Watch

The A158WA-1 is the silver steel bracelet version of Casio's classic small digital, and it is the model that dragged the brand out of utility and into fashion without changing a single line of the design. The template goes back to Casio's early digital era, which began with the Casiotron in November 1974 and hardened into a house language through the 1980s: rectangular module, steel case, integrated bracelet, four functions and no decoration. Casio kept making it while the rest of the industry chased trends, and eventually the world came back around. Buying one is buying an unedited 1980s object rather than a reinterpretation of one, which is why it does not read as costume.
