Origin
This piece is made in abs/pvc. Labubu came out of Kasing Lung's sketchbooks in 2015, a pointy-eared elf pulled from Nordic folklore with a nine-tooth grin that reads sweet or feral depending on your mood. Lung took the character to Pop Mart in 2019 under The Monsters banner, and the line went from art-toy shelf to global obsession. Tasty Macarons, which Pop Mart now lists as Exciting Macaron, arrived in October 2023 and is the series that changed the format: instead of a hard vinyl figure built to sit on a shelf, this one pairs a soft plush body with a vinyl face and hangs off a keyring. Six flavours make the set, Soymilk, Lychee Berry, Green Grape, Sea Salt Coconut, Toffee and Sesame Bean, with a Chestnut Cocoa secret hiding at roughly one in seventy-two.
Utility
Two ways to use it. One: clip it to the top handle of a tote or a canvas backpack so the face sits forward, which is how it photographs and how most people actually wear it. Two: leave it sealed and shelved, because unopened blind boxes trade cleaner than loose figures and a sealed Macaron holds its value better. Pop Mart's own guidance is fifteen and up, so treat it as a collectible rather than a kids toy. Care: the plush body grabs dust and city grime fast, so work it with a soft dry brush and spot-clean with a barely damp cloth instead of soaking it. Keep the vinyl face out of direct sun so the paint does not fade, and if you are buying a Labubu in India, check the seal and the box before anything gets opened.

Labubu is the rare collectible that jumped the fence from toy forums to fashion. Pop Mart's Labubu bag charms have been spotted on Blackpink's Lisa and on Dua Lipa, and drops now produce the kind of queues and instant sellouts sneakers used to own. Macaron matters inside that story because it is the series that made Labubu wearable: the pastel plush pendant became the default picture people hold in their heads when they hear the name, and the flavour names turned into shorthand collectors trade in. Construction
It ships sealed, so whatever is inside stays a surprise until you break it open. The face is moulded ABS and PVC, which is why the grin keeps its crisp edges and painted detail instead of going mushy the way stitched plush faces do, and it sits on a fuzzy fabric body in a pastel jumpsuit. Height runs about 6.7 inches, roughly 17 cm, so it hangs like a proper bag charm rather than a keychain trinket, and Pop Mart flags normal variance of up to about an inch between units. A gold-toned key ring on a fabric strap carries The Monsters branding, and that hardware is the part doing real work, since it takes daily clipping and unclipping on a tote or a backpack.
