ALL SAINTS ORLANDO SS CREW FLEUR GREEN
ALL SAINTS ORLANDO SS CREW FLEUR GREEN

Origin
AllSaints was started in 1994 by Stuart Trevor and Kait Bolongaro, and the name is two jokes stacked on each other: Trevor's initials made his nickname The Saint, and All Saints Road in Notting Hill was where he spent his time. It began as a wholesale menswear label selling into Harvey Nichols and Harrods before the first standalone store opened on Foubert's Place off Carnaby Street in 1997, with womenswear following in 1998. That order matters, because the label was built on menswear before it became known for anything else. The Orlando is the house logo tee, the piece that carries the wordmark, and Fleur Green is the softened, slightly dusty green in the run rather than a shouting colour.
Utility
Two ways to wear the Orlando SS Crew in Fleur Green. One: let the oversized cut do the work with wide black or ecru trousers, chunky black boots, and nothing else on top. Green plus black is quieter than any logo tee has a right to be. Two: layer it under an open overshirt in stone or washed indigo with straight jeans, so only the chest lettering shows and the puff print becomes a texture detail rather than a billboard. On sizing, this is cut oversized on purpose, so if you are between sizes or you want it to sit closer to the body, take the size down. Wash cold at 30 degrees, inside out, and do not tumble dry: heat cracks puff print and shrinks organic cotton. Hang to dry and press around the lettering, never over it.
Influence
The logo tee is how most people get into AllSaints, and the Orlando is that door. It is the cheapest entry into a wardrobe otherwise built on leather jackets and heavy knitwear, which is exactly why it works so hard: it carries the label's whole aesthetic at t-shirt money. The oversized cut and puff print place it squarely in the current graphic tee conversation rather than the slim, tight-printed logo tees of the label's earlier era, so it reads contemporary next to wide trousers and boxy outerwear. Fleur Green is the interesting pick in the range. Black and Ashen White are the safe sellers, and a muted green is the one that looks considered instead of default.
Construction
This is organic cotton, which on a tee is less about the certificate and more about how it feels on day forty: less scratch out of the wash, a hand that softens instead of pilling. The logo is set in bold bubble letters across the chest and repeated on the back, finished in puff print, so the lettering sits raised off the surface and catches light with actual texture instead of sitting flat like a transfer. Two details tell you where the money went: a thicker ribbed neckband, the single part of a t-shirt that fails first and the reason cheap tees go wavy at the collar, and twin needle stitching through the hems for a seam that survives repeat washing. The cut is oversized through the body and shoulder.
