Nike Air Max Torch 4 White

Part of Nike's Air Max Torch 4 line. This release has the White/Anthracite-Wolf Grey colourway. The Air Max Torch line is Nike's blue collar Air shoe, the one that never got a hype cycle and instead spent years on commutes, on shop floors and in gym bags. All white is its purest form, because it strips the model down to its two arguments: visible Air and a clean, wide silhouette. Nike Air itself arrived as a pressurised gas unit sealed inside the midsole and became visible from the 1987 Air Max onward, which turned cushioning from an invisible engineering fix into a design feature you could point at. The Torch 4 inherits that decision without the theatre. It is the descendant of a company that started in 1964 selling imported running shoes out of a car boot, still selling comfort first.
