Hoka Hopara 2 Sandal Shifting Sand

Released on 18 March 2024 and part of the Hopara Sandal line. This release has a knit upper in Shifting Sand/Dune. Shifting Sand puts the Hopara 2 in exactly the environment its predecessor was built for. The Hopara is Hoka's terrain and water ready slip on, the model streetwear label Brain Dead chose to rework, and the second version continues a line that has always sat slightly outside the running catalogue. A pale sand tone reads as coastline and dry riverbed rather than road, which is honest for a sandal that expects to get wet. Behind it is the same founding logic from Annecy in 2009: put more cushion under the foot than anyone thinks is reasonable, then find out where else that turns out to help.
