Adolf Dassler built the company in Herzogenaurach around purpose built kit for individual events, and he registered adidas AG on 18 August 1949 after the split with his brother Rudolf. Three years later he bought the Three Stripes trademark from Finnish maker Karhu Sports for two bottles of whisky and the equivalent of about 1,600 euros, then started calling adidas the three stripes company. Blue is the easy one. Zip it fully over a plain white tee with black straight leg trousers and white leather sneakers, and let the jacket be the only colour in the outfit.
