Paisley on an Air Force 1 is a straight collision of two dress codes. The pattern belongs to bandanas and to decades of American street uniform, and the Air Force 1 belongs to the same streets, which is why the black version of this treatment reads as coherent rather than costume. Tonal black on black keeps the contrast low. Expect a heavy, roomy shoe with a firm, flat ride. Printed and textured panels need gentler handling than plain leather, so avoid stiff brushes on the patterned areas and clean the midsole separately.
