Nike Air Force 1 Sage Low Triple White (Women's)

The Sage Low is Nike rebuilding the Air Force 1 for a women's line rather than shrinking the men's one, raising the platform and reworking the proportions so the shoe reads taller and more sculpted than the original. Triple White is the version that shows the change most clearly, because with no colour to look at you are looking at the silhouette. The base model has been in continuous rotation since it made the Nike Air unit a household idea, and the house behind it has always preferred revising an existing shape to retiring it. That instinct goes back to Bill Bowerman ruining a waffle iron in pursuit of a lighter sole rather than waiting for a supplier to make one.
