The safest way to choose a sneaker size online is to measure both feet, use the exact brand and model’s chart, and check the size system on the listing. Your usual UK number is a starting point, not a guarantee across every sneaker.
Measure both feet
Use a flat surface, stand naturally and measure from heel to longest toe. Measure both feet with the socks you intend to wear and keep the larger measurement. If another person can help, it is easier to keep your weight balanced. Record the result in centimetres so you can compare it with the manufacturer’s chart.
Check the model as well as the brand
Jordan 1, Dunk, New Balance 9060, Onitsuka Mexico 66, Yeezy Slides and On Cloud are different designs. Do not publish or follow a single “always size up” rule for all of them.
