Nike Air Max 1 Kasina Won-Ang Grey

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released on 8 June 2022 as part of Nike's Air Max 1 line. This release has a suede upper in Particle Grey/Iron Grey/Dark Smoke Grey/Dark Teal Green. The Air Max arrived in 1987 as the first Nike to admit what was inside it, cutting a window into the midsole so the sealed pressurised gas unit became visible and the cushioning itself became a design feature. The 1 is the original of that idea and the most restrained shoe in the family, which is why collaborators keep choosing it when they want to be taken seriously. This Kasina pair runs Won-Ang Grey, a cool grey scheme from a Korean retailer whose reference points are its own city rather than Oregon. That is the modern arrangement: Nike supplies the chassis and someone else supplies the meaning.
