Nike Mind 001 Slide Solar Red

Nike spent more than a decade inside a department most people did not know existed. The Mind Science Department sits within Nike's Sport Research Lab and runs one of the very few mobile brain and body imaging labs in the world, studying what happens in an athlete's nervous system while they are actually moving. The Mind 001 is what came out of it: Nike's first footwear built around underfoot stimulation rather than propulsion, with hundreds of athletes testing the platform across five years before it reached shelves. Solar Red is the loud follow-up to the debut Light Smoke Grey. Where the first colorway read like lab equipment, this one reads like a warning light: solar red foam, hyper crimson pods, chrome Swooshes. Same science, none of the restraint.
