Adidas Adilette Lite Slide J White Black

Released on 14 March 2022 and part of the Adilette line. This release has a synthetic upper in Cloud White/Core Black/Cloud White. The Adilette is the slide adidas has been making longer than most brands have made slides at all, and the Lite is its slimmed, lightweight version. This is the J build, cut for junior sizing, in white with black Three Stripes. It is the most stripped down product adidas sells: a single moulded band across the foot, a footbed, an outsole, and the stripes. Those stripes are the entire brand identity in one detail, and Adi Dassler did not draw them, he bought them from Finnish maker Karhu Sports in 1952 for the equivalent of about 1,600 euros and two bottles of whisky, then built a company that called itself the three stripes company.
