Adidas Forum Low Cl White Preloved Green

Released on 14 February 2024 and part of adidas's Forum line. This release has a leather upper in Cloud White/Preloved Green/Cloud White. The Forum comes from the era when adidas was designing basketball shoes as visible machinery, with an ankle strap, an X shaped lacing panel and a tall walled cupsole that all announced their function. The Low CL is the pared back, cleaner version of that: same DNA, fewer edges, cut below the ankle so it works as an everyday shoe rather than as court equipment. White with Preloved Green is a soft, faded green against a clean white leather base, the sort of tone that looks like it has already spent a season in the sun. It gives a fairly aggressive silhouette a gentleness that the original colourways never had.
