Boston is the name adidas gives to its fast daily trainer, the shoe that sits between an easy mileage cruiser and a race day plate shoe. It carries the adizero name, which is where adidas concentrates its competitive engineering, and the thirteenth generation continues the approach the brand chose over a single carbon plate: thermoplastic polyester elastomer midsoles with embedded carbon rods, so the forefoot can still articulate while the shoe returns energy.
