The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is the shoe that turned Boost from a running spec into street currency, and the MX run is where adidas stopped printing patterns and started marbling them. Instead of one flat knit colour with a contrast stripe, the MX pairs swirl multiple yarns through the Primeknit so the pattern shifts as it travels across the upper. Dark Salt is the moodiest of that family. Where earlier MX pairs leaned cream, rust and oat, this one drops into charcoal, graphite and near black, and the marbling reads like smoke rather than stone. Kanye West and adidas pitched it as a holiday expansion of the MX series, and like a lot of Yeezy stock it reached shelves on its own schedule. The result is a 350 V2 that behaves like a neutral.
