Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Static Non-Reflective 2018

Designed by Kanye West and released on 27 December 2018 as part of the Yeezy Boost 350 line. This release has a primeknit upper in Static/Static/Static. Static is the 350 V2 colourway that broke the earth tone habit without adding a single bright colour. Instead of a flat tone, the knit mixes light and dark yarns into a speckled grey field that looks like interference on an untuned screen, which is exactly where the name comes from. That is a departure from the Pirate Black and Oxford Tan school of naming that had defined the line since 2015: this one describes a visual effect rather than a material. The non reflective version keeps the pattern in plain yarn, so what you see in daylight is all there is, with none of the flash response the reflective edition carries.
