Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Sd Black White

Released on 8 January 2021 and part of the Mexico 66 line. This release has a leather upper in Black/White. SD is the deluxe reading of the Mexico 66, and Black White is the pairing that suits it best. The base shape goes back to 1966, when Onitsuka needed a flagship to compete with Adidas and Puma and built the Mexico line ahead of the 1968 Mexico City Games, giving it the crossed stripe device that became the Tiger Stripes. Black upper with white stripes inverts the brand's most famous colour logic, where the graphic usually sits dark on a light body. Here the shoe reads as a silhouette first and a logo second: a long, low, dark shape with two white lines cutting across the quarter and a white sole edge underneath.
