Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Static Reflective

Designed by Kanye West and released on 26 December 2018 as part of the Yeezy Boost 350 line. This release has a primeknit upper in Static/Static/Static. Static is the Boost 350 V2 colourway that abandoned the terrain palette for pure noise. Instead of Oxford Tan or Moonrock you get a knit that behaves like television snow, a fine grey and cream interference pattern across the whole upper. This is the reflective execution, which is a different proposition from the plain one: in daylight it is the same restless grey, and under a camera flash or headlights the threading lights up and the shoe becomes the brightest thing in the frame. That dual state is why Static Reflective became a night colourway with its own following. The model launched on 24 September 2016 and by the Static era the design conversation had moved entirely to what the knit itself could do.
