Released on 5 July 2024 and part of the Calm Slide line. This release has a eva upper in Game Royal/Game Royal. Calm is Nike's most reduced piece of footwear: a single moulded body, no laces, no panels, no visible technology, made for the moments a sports company usually ignores. Game Royal is the company's name for a strong, clean blue, the shade that belongs to team kit rather than to fashion, and putting it on a slide with nothing else happening is what makes the product work. This is a company whose founding idea, back when Bill Bowerman was building shoes for his runners at Oregon, was that footwear should be lighter and better than what the market offered. Six decades later, that logic reaches the shoe you wear when you are done.
