Nike Mind 001 'mineral Slate'

The Mind 001 is the first shoe out of Nike Mind, a platform from the brand's own Mind Science Department that spent five years chasing a different question: not how to make you faster, but how what happens under your foot changes attention and calm. It builds directly on the Nike Offline experiments that first put dimpled nodes under the insole. Dr Matthew Nurse, Nike's VP and Chief Science Officer, framed the whole project as expanding from the body into the mind by studying perception, attention and sensory feedback. Mineral Slate is the quiet entry in the range. Where earlier drops leaned high energy, this one pulls the palette back to muted green and grey and lets hyper crimson nodes and metallic platinum trim do the talking, which is why it reads as the considered pick, not the obvious one.
