Street Hawker is a city specific Dunk, and the style code carries Shanghai in it, which tells you the shoe was conceived around a place rather than a sport. Nike SB releases have always worked this way: the skate line borrows from local culture, food stalls, signage, night markets, and turns it into panelling and colour. That padding is why SB pairs are more comfortable than retros for long wear. Themed builds like this use the panel divisions to carry different materials and prints, so expect contrast surfaces rather than a single leather. The tread is designed for grip on grip tape, which also makes it good on smooth city pavements.
