Air Jordan Hydro 4 RETRO Slide Thunder

Part of the Jordan Hydro Slide line. This release has a synthetic upper in Black/Tour Yellow. The Hydro line is what happens when an archive gets translated into a slide. Rather than inventing a new object, Jordan Brand takes the design cues of a numbered model and rebuilds them as a moulded footbed and strap, which is only possible because the shapes and colour stories are recognisable enough to survive the loss of everything else. The Hydro 4 draws on the Air Jordan 4 and Thunder is a colour story carried over from that model's archive. This is the division working the way it has since 1997, treating its own history as a library of colours and marks rather than as a set of shoes it has to remake exactly.
