Hoka Arahi 7 Blanc De Blanc / Virtual Blue

Released on 6 July 2023 and part of the Arahi 7 line. This release has a knit upper in Blanc De Blanc/Virtual Blue. Blanc De Blanc with Virtual Blue is a champagne borrowed name on a support shoe, an off white body cooled by a clear blue, and it is one of the more considered ways the Arahi 7 has been finished. The Arahi is where Hoka's founding logic, an oversized cushioned outsole engineered in Annecy so two ex Salomon trail runners could descend faster, gets rebuilt for runners whose feet want guidance. In this colourway the shoe reads soft rather than corrective. The exaggerated sidewall is pale enough to look like part of a wardrobe, and the blue only appears where the branding and accents land, which keeps the whole silhouette calm.
