Released on 22 April 2025 and part of the Adizero Adios Pro 4 line. This release has a lightlock upper in Off White/Better Scarlet/Core Black. The Adios Pro is the competition end of adizero, the range adidas builds for athletes whose entire relationship with a shoe is measured in seconds. To Run is to Live is a themed edition of the fourth generation, and the phrase is aimed at the marathon culture that has grown around these shoes, where amateurs train on the same platforms professionals race on. The lineage runs straight back to the founding of the company, with Adolf Dassler making event specific shoes in his mother's laundry room in Herzogenaurach because he watched runners rather than guessing at what they needed, then registering adidas AG in 1949 and building a business on that discipline.
