Part of New Balance's 327 line. This release has a leather upper in Black/Sea Salt. Sea Salt Black is the sharpest way to read the women's 327. The model is New Balance's most graphic modern shoe, taking the low profile and flared outsole of its older racing shapes and scaling the block N until it spans the side wall. Running an off white base against a black N gives that logo maximum contrast, so the whole shoe becomes a piece of typography that you happen to walk in. There is a certain nerve in a company that spent a century selling arch support and width fittings deciding that its own house mark, the block N, is interesting enough to be the entire design.
