Wear them with running shorts and a tee straight after a session so your feet get a wide, soft platform to decompress on, or with linen trousers and a loose shirt for warm weather days where you want comfort without looking like you came from the gym. Socks are a real option and thicker socks change how the strap sits, so decide before sizing. Occasion is recovery, poolside, travel and home rather than long walks on hard pavement. Rinse them after pool or beach use, wipe the white footbed regularly, and dry them in shade to protect the foam.

Recovery footwear moved out of the locker room and into daily wardrobes over the last two decades, following the same path that took Nike's sports silhouettes into 1990s and 2000s casual and athleisure dressing.
