On Running Wmns Cloudmonster 'undyed White'

Part of On Running's Cloudmonster line. This release has a mesh upper in Undyed White/White. Undyed White is a colourway defined by something left out. The name says the dye step was skipped, so what you get is the material close to how it arrived, a slightly raw off white with none of the flatness a pigmented white has. Putting that on the original Cloudmonster, the model where On built its founding sensation tall, makes an interesting pair: the most engineered silhouette in the range finished in the least processed way. The engineering goes back to Zurich in 2010, where Olivier Bernhard, a former Swiss Ironman champion, glued sections of a cut garden hose to a sole to prove a hollow shape could land soft and push off firm. This is the women's build.
