Adios is the oldest promise in adidas racing. The original adizero Adios is the shoe Haile Gebrselassie laced up in Berlin to take the marathon world record down to 2:03:59, and the line has stacked over 150 elite race wins since. The Adios Pro is that lineage rebuilt for the carbon era, and this is the Tokyo Marathon edition of the fourth generation. adidas did the same for the Adios Pro 3, so Cherry Blossom is the second time it has dressed its top racer for Japan's biggest road race. The colorway is Core White with Silver Metallic and Clear Pink, a sakura read where the fold-over heel is shaped like a cherry blossom petal and pink runs through the lining, tongues and tread.
