Air Jordan 6 RETRO OG Carmine

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released on 13 February 2021 as part of the Air Jordan 6 line. This release has a nubuck upper in White/Black/Carmine. The Air Jordan 6 comes from the stretch when Tinker Hatfield had the line and each model was a step in an argument rather than a variation on the last. From the Air Jordan III onward the numbered shoes carried their own design language, and by the 6 that language was confident enough to build a silhouette around a shape idea instead of a logo. Carmine is one of the two colourways people mean when they simply say the 6, a hot red against white with black holding the edges. OG means the original proportions and the original mark placement rather than a modern reinterpretation. This is the model in the form the archive recognises without argument.
