Released on 20 November 2025 and part of Nike's Air Force 3 line. This release has the Phantom/Bamboo/Night Stadium colourway. The Air Force 3 is the least famous member of the family and the most interesting one to hand to an outside designer, because it has none of the Air Force 1's baggage. Nike's Air platform, the pressurised gas unit sealed in the midsole, is the through line: it made the Air Force line possible and, from the visible Air Max of 1987 onward, made cushioning into a design feature. This is the Nigo version, an SP build released as part of a Kintsugi Pack in Phantom Night Stadium colours. Kintsugi is the Japanese practice of repairing broken ceramics with gold so the break becomes the ornament, and naming a sneaker pack after it tells you the design intent before you see the shoe.
Two ways to wear it. First, tonal grey and cream: charcoal wide trousers, a bone crewneck, a grey overshirt, so the Phantom and Night Stadium tones sit as a considered pairing rather than a contrast. Second, workwear: raw denim, a navy chore jacket, a plain white tee, letting the shoe read as the technical piece. It suits city days, dry weather and anywhere with a design literate crowd. Off white uppers do not survive rain or mud, so treat it as a fair weather pair. Air Force builds tend to run large, so consider half a size down. Protect before first wear, clean Phantom panels with mild soap and a soft cloth, and never bleach a warm off white.
Nike's collaborative practice grew out of a company that historically absorbed brands rather than partnered creatively: it bought Cole Haan in 1988 and sold it in 2013, Bauer in 1994 and sold it in 2008, Converse in 2003 for 309 million dollars, and it acquired the virtual sneaker studio RTFKT in December 2021. Working with individual designers is a later, looser instinct, and it has become the main way overlooked silhouettes get pulled back into conversation. Nike also worked with artist Takashi Murakami on digital product in 2022, part of the same widening of who gets to touch the archive. The Air Force 3 exists in retail today largely because of this kind of attention.
No style code is listed here, so the colour names carry the detail. Phantom is Nike's off white, chalky neutral, and Night Stadium is a deep grey blue, so this is a muted two tone pair rather than a bright one. The Air Force 3 is a mid to low court build with a heavily overlaid upper and a cupsole hiding an encapsulated Air unit, so the cushioning is felt rather than seen. A Kintsugi themed design implies contrast seams or joins treated as the decorative element, meaning the construction lines are meant to be looked at. SP builds usually mean better materials than a general release. Keep the Phantom panels protected, because a chalky off white marks quickly.
