Nike Dunk Low SE Just Do It White Iridescent (Women's)

Designed by Peter Moore and part of Nike's Dunk line. This release has a patent leather upper in White/White/White/White. Just Do It was written in 1988 by Dan Wieden, of the agency Nike had worked with since 1976, and the first film ran on 1 July 1988 with Walt Stack, an eighty year old runner, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Advertising Age later named it a top five slogan of the twentieth century, and the material sits in the Smithsonian. Putting that line on a women's Dunk Low in white with iridescent finish is Nike using its own most famous three words as ornament. The shoe is not quoting a team or an athlete, it is quoting the company's voice, which is the rarer move and the reason this pair reads as brand statement rather than sports nostalgia.
