The Wave Runner is the single most influential shape in the chunky trainer wave of the late 2010s, and half the market followed it within two seasons. The upper is a layered build: mesh, suede style panels and synthetic overlays stacked across the foot with a moulded heel counter holding the back. The multi tone colour blocking exists to make that layering readable, which is why the shoe looks busy compared with the knit models. Underneath sits a thick sculpted midsole with a Boost unit inside, the expanded TPU pellet foam that provides the cushioning the line is known for, with a rubber outsole below. Lacing runs through a traditional eyestay, so unlike the sock silhouettes this one adjusts for instep height. No exterior logo appears on the shoe.
