Air Jordan 1 Mule Golf Shattered Backboard

Designed by Peter Moore and part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Starfish/Black/Sail. Two unlikely things meet here. The first is golf, a sport Jordan Brand entered long after basketball, in the stretch where the house had already moved outside its original game: sole equipment provider to the Michigan Wolverines football team in 2016, sponsor of Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, a Nike division generating about 5.1 billion dollars by 2022. The second is a mule, a backless shoe, which is the least athletic construction in footwear. Shattered Backboard is one of the brand's established colour names, an orange forward palette that people recognise the way they recognise Chicago or Royal. Putting a famous colour code on a backless golf shoe is the kind of joke only a brand this secure can make.
