Start with the Nike chart for the exact Air Jordan 1 listing, then check its construction and fit. Low, Mid, High, women’s and GS labels are not interchangeable descriptions.

Identify the Jordan 1 you are buying

Match Low, Mid or High, and check whether the listing says OG, SE, women’s, men’s or GS. Collar height changes where the shoe contacts your ankle; different materials and padding can change the feel. A GS pair is a children’s product, not simply a cheaper adult pair with an equivalent number. Check the full style code before comparing offers.

Use the right Nike size scale

Nike provides separate men’s, women’s and unisex charts. For example, its adult chart maps US men’s 8 to US women’s 9.5; the same printed US number is not the same size across those scales. Nike also distinguishes measured foot length from the CM value on the shoe label. Use its chart rather than subtracting a fixed number from an EU size.

Fit checks for Low, Mid and High

For a High or Mid, loosen the laces enough to seat your heel properly before judging tightness near the collar. For a Low, check whether your heel lifts while walking. If the toe area is comfortable but the collar is not, changing length may not address the issue. Compare the exact construction rather than assuming every Jordan 1 fits like a pair you already own.

Measure and try before committing

Measure both feet standing on a flat surface, wearing the socks you plan to use. Record heel-to-longest-toe length and use the larger foot. Follow the manufacturer’s measurement instructions: a foot-length column and the centimetre label printed on a box may describe different things. Check the size system shown beside the actual size you select.

Try both shoes on a clean indoor surface, with your usual socks. Lace them normally, stand and take a few steps. Check toe pressure, forefoot compression and heel movement separately. A longer shoe may relieve the toes but leave the heel loose. Keep packaging, tags and the invoice until you have decided whether the fit is right; do not wear a pair outdoors while considering an exchange.

Buying in India

Select your size before comparing prices. Confirm the style code, colourway, adult or children’s construction, condition and delivery estimate. An attractive starting price may apply to a different size. Size exchange is conditional on the order, request window, unused condition and an eligible replacement; read the quote before committing.
