Air Jordan 1 RETRO High OG Self Expression

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 31 July 2025 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Black/Black/Summit White. Self Expression is the Retro High OG used as a message rather than a memory. OG in the name means the archive proportions are intact: the tall padded collar, the wide stitched Swoosh, the Wings logo on the ankle panel, all descended from the shoe Peter Moore drew with Bruce Kilgore after Nike signed Michael Jordan on 26 October 1984. What changes on a release like this is intent. Jordan Brand has run the 1 as an expressive platform since it became a standalone Nike division in 1997, and the model now carries editions built around ideas rather than teams. The shape provides the recognition; the treatment supplies the argument.
