Released on 6 February 2025 and part of the Adilette line. This release has a synthetic upper in Semi Mint Rush/Cloud White/Semi Mint Rush. The Adilette Comfort is the padded, grown up version of adidas's poolside slide, built for people who wear a slide for hours rather than for the twenty metres to a changing room. Putting it in Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team colours turns a utility object into paddock kit, which is a familiar move for a company that has always dressed teams as well as individuals, from Jesse Owens in handmade Dassler spikes at the 1936 Berlin Olympics through sponsored athletes like Lionel Messi and David Beckham. Semi Mint Rush is the tell here: a pale, cold mint that reads unmistakably as this team's colour and nothing else, sitting on a shoe that is otherwise entirely about comfort.
Utility
Mint is a colour that dictates the rest of the outfit, so keep everything else neutral. Recipe one: black shorts, a white tee and white socks, letting the mint read as the single bright point, which is how team colour works best off track. Recipe two: grey sweatpants with the hem sitting just above the strap and a plain black tee, for travel and recovery days when the cushioned footbed earns its keep. Construction

Semi Mint Rush across a soft touch surface will show marks more readily than a dark slide, so the lining and strap face are the parts to look after. Everything else about it is designed to be rinsed, dried and forgotten.
