Air Jordan 1 Low Sky J Purple

Sky J Purple is a light, airy purple, and the naming tells you where it belongs: the Sky J range sits in the softer, more fashion led part of the Air Jordan 1 Low programme rather than in the retro line. The silhouette is Peter Moore's, designed with Bruce Kilgore for a Chicago Bulls rookie Nike signed on 26 October 1984, produced for him that November and sold publicly from 1 April 1985. Purple never featured in the Chicago palette that became Jordan Brand's house colours alongside the number 23, which is why colours like this land on the Low, where the shape can stand alone without a story propping it up.
