Designed by Bruce Kilgore and part of Nike's Air Force 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Black/Black/Black. The Air Force 1 landed in 1982 as a basketball shoe, and its whole reason for existing was cushioning: Bruce Kilgore was the first designer to work Nike Air into a hoops silhouette, and the pitch was that it absorbed shock about 30 percent better than what players were used to.
