Released on 26 February 2024 and part of the Ora Recovery Mule line. This release has a synthetic upper in Black/Black. The Ora Recovery Mule in triple black is the most domestic thing Hoka makes. A mule keeps the closed toe of a shoe and drops the heel counter, which makes it the natural end point of the recovery idea the brand has been building since its cushioned road models became standard for people who spend twelve hour shifts on hard hospital floors. It is a shoe for the hour after work, or the walk to the car, or the whole evening. All black is the right treatment: nothing about a recovery mule needs to be loud, and the founding cushioning idea from Annecy in 2009 does not need decoration.
