New Balance 9060 New Spruce Peach Blossom

Released on 27 February 2025 and part of New Balance's 9060 line. This release has a suede upper in New Spruce/Peach Blossom/Team Royal. New Spruce Peach Blossom is the most deliberately composed 9060 colourway in the range, a deep muted green sitting against a soft warm pink. The shoe is New Balance exaggerating its own 99x running family, the line that began with the 990 in 1982 and ran through the 991, 992, 993 and their revisions, until the panels and the midsole are distorted past the point of quotation. That kind of shape can carry a two colour scheme that a plain runner could not. Green and peach together is a fashion decision rather than a heritage one, and it only reads as New Balance because both tones are muted rather than bright, which is the palette the brand has always trusted.
