True Blue is one of the colour codes the line carries from its own history, a bright, slightly retro blue that reads as archive rather than team kit. Underfoot it is a flat cupsole with a firm, stable ride, no Air unit, since visible cushioning entered the line from the Air Jordan II onward. Bright blue against white sets up a hard edge that shows dirt at the midsole first. Keep the sole edge clean with a sponge and mild soap and the pair will read new far longer than the upper suggests.
