Designed by Peter Moore and released on 24 July 2023 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Fierce Pink/Black/White. Fierce Pink is the Air Jordan 1 Low taken well outside the Chicago red, black and white that function as the brand's own colours. That freedom exists because Jordan Brand became a standalone Nike division in 1997 with its own apparel and roster, which meant the 1 could stop being a museum piece and start being a platform. The grade school range is where the palette gets loudest, and a saturated pink on Peter Moore's original panel layout is about as far from a 1984 team shoe as the silhouette travels while still being unmistakably itself. A single strong colour wants everything else neutral. Recipe one: black leggings or slim joggers, a white tee, a grey zip through hoodie, so the pink is the only saturated point in the fit.
