Nike Mind 001 Mule Light Smoke Grey

Released on 8 January 2026 and part of the Mind 001 line. This release has the Light Smoke Grey/Photon Dust/Hyper Crimson/Chrome colourway. A mule is the least sporting thing a sports company can make: no laces, no heel counter, nothing holding your foot except the vamp across the top. Nike keeps returning to the form because the hours around training are as long as training itself, and because a company that has spent sixty years arguing about what should sit under your foot eventually has to answer what you wear when you stop. Mind 001 is a numbered first attempt, which is how Nike labels a product it intends to iterate on rather than repeat. Light Smoke Grey keeps the whole thing deliberately unassertive, a pale neutral that reads more like a household object than like footwear.
