Origin
The CTT, short for Chinese Track Top, was never meant to leave China. adidas Originals' Shanghai studio built it for the domestic market, then showed the 3.1 generation at Shanghai Fashion Week in October 2025 before releasing it across mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan that December. Europe got it the following February, the United States on May 1, where it sold out on day one and forced a restock two weeks later. Construction
The body is premium spacer fabric, 92 percent recycled polyester and 8 percent elastane, so it holds a structured shape off the hanger and still stretches when you move. Instead of an exposed zip, the front closes with pankou frog fasteners, the knotted fabric buttons of traditional Chinese dress, with a functional zip concealed behind them, so you get the ceremony when you want it and a one pull close when you are late. The collar stands mandarin style, framing the neck rather than folding over it. The 3-Stripes run down the sleeves, the only overt sportswear signal on an otherwise quiet garment.
