Gymshark started in 2012 in a Birmingham garage, when a 19-year-old Ben Francis was studying at Aston University and delivering for Pizza Hut, printing and sewing gym kit by hand on a sewing machine and screen printer he bought with a school friend. He was building what he could not buy: gym clothes cut for people who actually lift. The BodyPower Expo in 2013 was the turn, a tracksuit selling out in half an hour and a bedroom project becoming a business shipping to more than 230 countries, all of it without outside investment for years. Utility

Construction
