    Large messenger is the working end of the Jet Set Travel family. Where the small pieces in the line are about carrying nothing, this one is about carrying a day: documents, a laptop, whatever a trip actually requires. Jet Set takes its name from what Kors calls jet set glamour, and the honest version of that phrase is not glamour at all but logistics, bags designed so that moving through cities does not require unpacking. The line sits in MICHAEL Michael Kors, launched in 2004, the accessible tier that grew the company to a scale where by 2017 it operated more than eight hundred full price and outlet stores worldwide. Black is the only colourway that makes sense at this size.

    Use one, work: laptop flat against the back panel, documents in the main body, phone and cards in the front so you are not opening the flap at a security desk, worn across the body with a coat over tailoring. Use two, travel: same bag as a personal item, worn on one shoulder, sitting on top of a suitcase handle between gates. Large size makes it a five day a week bag rather than an occasional one. Do not carry it on one shoulder when fully loaded for long periods. Check the strap anchors every few months, wipe the flap edge, and empty and air the interior rather than leaving papers to press against the lining.
