Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released on 25 March 2022 as part of the Air Jordan 3 line. This release has a canvas upper in Muslin/University Red/Cement Grey/Sail. After the first two models, Nike handed the line to Tinker Hatfield, and the Air Jordan 3 is where a basketball shoe became a design series with its own language. The 3 introduced the elephant print, the grey cracked pattern that is now the most recognisable Jordan material code, and put the Jumpman on the tongue, moving the house mark to the front of the shoe.
