Released on 7 August 2024 and part of adidas's Gazelle line. This release has a suede upper in Chalk White/Better Scarlet/Core Black. Blue Bird against Better Scarlet is a loud pairing, and the Gazelle Indoor is the shape that can carry it. The Indoor designation points at the gym floor rather than the street, a low, flat shoe made to grip a wooden surface, and the Gazelle family has always been the more delicate cousin to adidas' heavier court shoes. It sits under adidas Originals, which is why it wears the Trefoil, the three leaves over three stripes drawn in 1971 and launched for the 1972 Munich Olympics. That logo carried the entire company until 1997, when the three angled bars took over performance and corporate use, and its survival on the Gazelle is the reason this shoe reads as archive rather than as current season.
Blue and scarlet is a colour block, so let the shoe be the loudest thing you own that day.
