Wmns Air Jordan 1 Low 'new Emerald'

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 6 August 2022 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in White/White/New Emerald. New Emerald is a clear, slightly blue leaning green, and on the women's Jordan 1 Low it lands as a colour statement rather than a reference to anything in the line's history. That is a freedom the Low earned. Peter Moore's 1985 pattern was built for a basketball court, and the cut down version has spent its life as a general purpose shoe, which means Jordan Brand can put any colour on it without contradicting a story. Green sits outside the Chicago red, black and white palette that works as a brand colour, so an emerald pair reads as a wardrobe choice: recognisable outline, unfamiliar shade, no team attached.
